OUR CHILDREN
The primary purpose of our children's
ministries is to enhance the spiritual growth of our children, coupled with
meeting the needs of their parents.
One of our greatest mission fields is one found right in our
own homes- the children. God has blessed us with a ripe harvest that needs
sowers and reapers. Our children are tomorrow's pastors, missionaries, teachers,
leaders, etc. Now is the time to "train
up a child in the way that he should go". Now is the time to "Go and make disciples". Now is the time to "let the little children
come..." The children's ministries can be
a powerful tool in reaching the next generation and bringing you to a closer
walk with God.
Each child needs a safe, caring and loving environment so
that they can begin to learn and understand spiritual truths. In Psalm 127:3
God reminds us that our children are a gift from Him. We as a church take this
God-given trust seriously.
The children are cared for and taught by
volunteer teachers. They are taught not
only on Sunday mornings in Sunday school but also any time care is provided for
them during other services.
We provide nursery for children up to 3 years old on Sunday mornings, Sunday evenings, and Wednesday evenings.
During the morning worship, all boys and girls, 4 through 6 years old are invited to attend Wee Church.
On Wednesday evenings we provide nursery
through high school classes.
Our prayer and desire is that the children will come to a
place in their life where they will accept Christ as Savior and Lord and
continue to grow in their walk with God.
